“I’m Open” is a mobile application developed specifically for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android devices to assist clinicians in communicating their open appointment times to their patients, students, and clients. This application is designed to make it easy for users to retrieve open times from their calendars using a .ics file (iCalendar format) via an Internet link (URI) provided to the “I’m Open” application. This helps users quickly share a list of their open times from their smartphone or tablet.
As the application is new, there are various scheduling tools and platforms that could be integrated with it. Open times must be marked with a description such as “open,” “open for new,” “open existing,” etc., for the application to identify openings accurately.
With “I’m Open,” users can easily retrieve their open appointment times from their calendars, select the ones they want to share, and send them to their patients, students, and clients. This streamlines the scheduling process and ensures that clinicians are making the most of their available time. Overall, “I’m Open” is useful for clinicians who want to manage their appointments more effectively and provide better service to their patients, students, and clients.
