About Me
I have had a long and fulfilling career in software development, but after some time, I began to feel a sense of emptiness in my career choice. As I reflected on my life goals, I realized that I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives, and that’s when I decided to pursue an undergraduate degree in psychology. Later, I earned a Master’s degree in mental health counseling.
As a father of five children, one of whom is a toddler, I have a unique perspective on the challenges and joys of parenting. This experience has given me insight into the issues that families face and helped me better understand and support my clients, who are also parents. I’ve been divorced (and remarried) and have experienced both sides of significant life changes, and I (or think I) “get it.”
I work as a psychotherapist in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I specialize in helping couples and individuals navigate issues related to their relationships, sexual concerns, and faith transitions. In my work with couples, I help them address various situations, including unbalanced libido, sexual dysfunction related to conditions or aging, and the use of erotic material in conflict with moral values. I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their feelings, desires, and concerns in a supportive and understanding environment.
In addition to my work with couples, I also work with individuals struggling with various mental health and well-being issues. I focus on helping clients develop the skills and strategies to manage their mental health effectively and improve their overall quality of life.
As an MDMA-certified psychedelic therapist, I have extensive training and experience working with individuals using psychedelic substances for therapeutic purposes. I aim to help clients integrate their psychedelic experiences into their everyday lives, allowing for greater personal growth and healing.
On this website, I have compiled links to the content I have created or managed resources for visitors and helpful tools for individuals struggling with mental health. My technology and mental health counseling background has allowed me to create an informative and supportive space for people seeking guidance on managing their mental health effectively. I believe technology can play a strong role in managing our mental health. As technology continues to evolve, there are new opportunities to use it to promote mental health and well-being.
